The Embassy Section is placed under the Norwegian Embassy in Kampala, and is headed by Counsellor Vibeke Grundtvig Søegaard.
As of 2009 the Embassy Section in Bujumbura will be handling all consular affairs in co-operation with the Embassy in Kampala. All visa applications must be submitted to the embassy section.
